Wilailak is a member of the Hmong hill-tribe from the village of Huai Hom in Phrae Province, Thailand.

Unlike most of her tribe, she had the opportunity to go to school and acquire the knowledge she needed to open her own shop in her village. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, her business has not been very good. Meanwhile, Wilailak has been given the opportunity to join other weavers on the Yellow Leaf's programme. Thus, she can weave hammocks from her small shop too, so that she and her family can earn a decent income.

This loan will enable Wilailak to invest in raw materials to ensure a steady weaving work for the coming year.
