Recently, more and more people are showing an interest in reusability, circularity and recycling. And that's a very good thing for our beloved planet!
We care for our planet!
At Label K, we love our planet, and it's important to us to take care of it. That's why we've decided to put more and more thought into our approach, and therefore into our products. When we made our pouches and headbands from bandana fabric, we realized that the cut-outs generated a lot of waste. But what to do with it? We couldn't throw away such a great fabric...
That's when we thought of reusing it to make other, smaller products with easy cut-outs: scrunchies, but also washable and reusable make-up remover pads. And as well as being eco-friendly, they're unique with their bandana fabric!
Why adopt it?
It turns out that a woman uses an average of 6 cotton pads a day to remove her make-up (source: Consoglobe), i.e. around 2,160 pads and 2 kg of waste per person per year! Considering that cotton cultivation requires large quantities of water and pesticides (source: Deklic), the impact of this consumption of make-up removal pads is highly problematic for the environment. Thus, the ecological advantage of reusable make-up removal pads is well established.
What's more, we've taken care to select OEKO-TEX® certified fabric to ensure respect for every skin type, even the most sensitive. No pesticides in our reusable cotton pads, we promise!
So now, cotton pads: pick or skip?
